Before we begin our journey, let's take a closer look at Geek Boy himself. He will be the hero protagonist in this story, so it is important that we get to know him.

Hi! I'm DWoo (or at least that's how some people call me). I am a Chinese American boy, which may or may not have some kind of connection to my high level of interest in math and science, as well as my terrible English skills. Actually, that's probably just my high Asian academic standards kicking in. I should probably consider myself to be fairly well-rounded, since I scored fives on all but two of my IB exams. Then again, those two exams were math and physics, on which I scored sevens. Also, the only not-five score I've received on an AP test was a four in English Language. Subjects aside, though, I guess the fact that I even bothered with both AP and IB might be rooted in my Asian-ness as well.

I suppose I also fit that stereotypical Asian profile in that I am extremely interested in technology. I've loved computers and video games since I was a little kid, and since my freshman year in high school I've wanted to learn more about actually creating video games. For two years I was the head of the programming team in my school's robotics club. I'm even thinking about majoring in computer science when I go to college.

That's the basic gist of who I am - the typical Asian kid. I look forward to telling you more about myself and my exploration of other cultures. Until next time!
