We apologize for the previous entry in this journal. It was really way too long for anyone to want to read, but if you did go through all of it, we're very sorry for any pain and suffering you may have experienced. If you need counseling, you're pretty much screwed, since the only contact on this site is Geek Boy himself.

This time, we find Geek Boy in one of its natural environments: the internet.

I love the internet. The internet is a seemingly limitless wellspring of information. I'm almost always able to find what I'm looking for.

However, there are times when I encounter things I'm not looking for. Some stones are better left unturned. It's very easy to get sucked into the endless void of the internet. One interesting story leads to another, and suddenly, hours have gone by since the last time you've looked at the clock. Several of my comrades have fallen to sites like reddit and TV Tropes. So far I've managed to stay relatively safe from the beckoning voice from dark side of the internet, mainly using the internet's powers for good. I try to use the internet much like a man uses a store - go in and get what I'm looking for, then leave without doing any shopping around.

However, there have been times when I've strayed from this path. I will admit that the internet as a community is very fascinating. As I said, it's an infinite source of knowledge, and it's amazing what some people know, even if what they know is about the stupidest, funniest, or weirdest thing ever. At some point, I think I'll probably end up becoming involved in this side of the internet's culture, but for now I think it's better to keep away.
